Trust & Safety Governance
Explore how our strict governance, verification rules, and dispute resolution protect the ecosystem.
The Truvera Trust Framework
Transactions on Truvera operate within a framework built around five foundational pillars. These rules provide structure for how buyers, sellers, service providers, and delivery partners participate in the Truvera ecosystem.
1. Protected Payments
Protected payments are processed through regulated financial-partner infrastructure and safeguarded in the applicable escrow arrangement. Settlement is strictly governed and only executed when the applicable release conditions are met.
2. Trust & Verification
TrustID helps you view available public verification and trust information about another participant. Public trust signals may vary according to the participant's applicable verification level, giving you additional context before deciding whether to transact.
3. Governed Fulfilment
Whether it is physical product delivery or digital service completion, fulfilment is integrated into transaction rules. For goods requiring logistics, approved delivery partners handle movement while assignment, handoffs, confirmation, evidence, and incidents may support the governed transaction history.
4. Dispute Resolution
When things do not go as planned, transactions enter a structured, governed dispute review. Submitted evidence, including relevant fulfilment or delivery records, is reviewed against the applicable transaction rules.
5. Trusted Access
We recognize that digital commerce requires human bridges. Truvera Agents extend governed, human-assisted access and support to users and businesses within authorized flows, helping them participate in the ecosystem.
Understanding TrustID
TrustID helps you view available public verification and trust information about another Truvera participant before you transact.
Verification Levels
Higher verification levels provide more context about a participant. They are not a promise of honesty, performance, delivery, service quality, refunds, dispute outcomes, or transaction success.
Basic
Foundational TrustID and public profile information is available.
Identity Verified
Additional identity verification information is available.
Business Verified
Additional business-related verification information is available.
Enhanced Verified
Additional verification context beyond lower levels is available.
Public Badges and Trust Tier
Some public profiles may display badges or other approved public trust signals based on Truvera's applicable rules. A participant's trust tier indicates that trust information can develop as relevant verification and platform history become available. A higher tier provides more context but is not a promise of safety.
What TrustID Does Not Prove
TrustID is not a promise of honesty, product quality, service quality, delivery, fulfilment, refunds, dispute outcomes, transaction success, or the absence of misconduct. It is designed to provide you with verification context to inform your own judgment.
The Protected Transaction Next Step
First, use TrustID to verify context. Then, conduct your transaction through Truvera's protected transaction flow so that applicable payment, delivery or service records, confirmation, issue and dispute paths, and governed release conditions can operate within the transaction.
Trust Tools That Travel With the Transaction
Deals can start outside Truvera, but trust signals should still resolve back to official Truvera surfaces. TrustID, invitation checks, marketplace discovery, and transaction records are designed to reduce impersonation and keep context attached to the governed flow.
TrustID Verification
Public TrustID signals can help counterparties confirm eligible participant identity and trust status from an official Truvera source.
Invitation Authenticity
Invitation checks are designed to show inviter context and reduce phishing risk before a user proceeds with onboarding or a transaction.
Search to Transaction
Supported search, marketplace, and checkout-link paths can carry participant, product, service, and price context into the governed lifecycle.
Built on trusted infrastructure
Truvera governs and orchestrates the transaction trust experience. However, we do not operate the trust infrastructure alone. We bring together specialized participants and infrastructure partners across payments, identity and verification, fulfilment, delivery, and dispute governance.
Financial transactions are supported through appropriately regulated financial, banking, and payment partners where applicable. Regulated partners provide the financial or payment capabilities for which they are authorized; Truvera governs the transaction experience and release rules.
Banking / Financial Infrastructure
Providing regulated financial infrastructure and rails where applicable.
Payment / PSSP Infrastructure
Facilitating secure money movement and payment processing.
Identity / Verification Infrastructure
Validating governmental IDs and corporate registration.
Delivery Ecosystem
Approved delivery partners supporting fulfilment records, handoffs, evidence, and incidents.
